Cavell Nurses’ Trust is the charity supporting UK nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants, both working and retired, when they’re suffering personal or financial hardship often due to illness, disability, domestic abuse, and the impact of the coronavirus. We offer a tailored package of support to help everyone who gets in touch, helping to transform lives. The nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants we help say they’re often happier, healthier and able to stay in or return to work.

Our lives are still being impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and during the biggest health crisis for a generation, we’ve seen our nursing professionals step up to the frontline to do their duty, putting their lives at risk day after day.
The impact of this huge health emergency is still being felt by this valuable workforce and will do so for many months, if not years. In the first 12 months since the pandemic hit the UK, Cavell Nurses’ Trust saw a 140% increase in the number of nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants needing our help compared to the same period in 2019. Demand for our support remains consistently high even now, more than 18 months on.
We know it’s essential we are here to support the nursing and midwifery workforce in need. With your help we can continue to support these professionals we all relay on to look after us and our families.
