CLIC Sargent fights tirelessly to stop cancer destroying young lives. We provide grants and free accommodation close to hospitals to help families with spiralling costs during cancer treatment.
Our care teams are on hand to help with everything from getting benefits to treatment closer to home. And we lobby the government to make sure families get the support they’re entitled to. We’re here to make sure young cancer patients can focus on getting their lives back on track.

More about CLIC Sargent
Last year we helped 7,010 children and young people with cancer, and their families, cope with the impact of a cancer diagnosis.
Our 10 Homes from Home, based near principal treatment centres across the UK, allow families to stay together close to hospital during their child’s cancer treatment. Last year, 1,213 families stayed in our 10 homes, completely free of charge, for days, weeks or months at a time.
We also provided over 5,300 grants totalling more than £1million to help children and young people with the immediate costs of a cancer diagnosis.
"I had no idea this kind of support was available, I hadn’t ever claimed for anything in my life. You can’t do something like this on your own. That support is so important." - Jules, mum of Daisy, who was diagnosed with cancer aged 12 (pictured)
