Registered Charity Number 1061359
National charity Independent Age exists to make the UK a better place to grow old for everyone. What we do is very simple and effective. We understand the challenges people face in late life. We campaign for change. And we provide practical support everyone can rely on – award-winning information guides, a helpline with access to independent advice, and a network of volunteers helping us to beat loneliness and isolation across the UK.
For more than 150 years we’ve been helping people live the best life they can when they’re older. As the population ages, our work is becoming increasingly vital. Money worries, loneliness, inadequate care… This is the story of millions of older people in the UK today. We know things can’t continue as they are. We need to find new ways of doing things. It’s time to revolutionise what it means to grow older, but we can’t do this alone. Donate, support and volunteer with us today.

More about Independent Age
With your help, we can fight loneliness and isolation, and bring many more friendship volunteers on board so everyone in later life has someone to talk to.
With your help, we can expand our advice and information services that give people the knowledge and confidence to demand the care they need.
With your help, we can make sure everyone is aware of the benefits and entitlements they’re due so we all have enough to live on in our old age.
With your help, we can amplify our call for a society where everyone can thrive in later life and be as independent, healthy, active and well-connected as possible.
