Registered Charity Number 1125291
The Parenting Project provides accessible and high-quality parenting support. The project works with parents and their children, young people aged 0-19/25 SEND, who are facing a wide range of difficulties and challenges in their lives, including domestic abuse, isolation, mental health worries, loneliness, low confidence, and the challenges of low income.
Without support, these difficulties can often escalate and sometimes spiral out of control. Children often bear the impact of family difficulties, which is why we provide programmes and services based on the family’s needs as a whole. Our services include counselling, one-to-one family support, and parenting programmes. We work closely with a wide range of organisations and agencies, including mental health agencies, health visitors, midwives, speech and language therapists, local children’s services, CAB, other charities, social housing providers and employment support organisations.
