Registered Charity Number 208217 and SC037585

PDSA is the UK’s leading veterinary charity, caring for sick and injured pets in need since 1917. The dedicated veterinary teams across a network of 48 Pet Hospitals care for 470,000 vulnerable pets every year - preventing illness, educating owners, treating the pets and supporting families. PDSA receive no Government funding and rely entirely on public donations to fund their vital service, which costs over £60 million a year.

PDSA help pets like Jay the cat, who suffered a fractured tail and severed leg after being hit by a train. Bruno, a seven-month-old puppy who caught deadly parvovirus, a disease which can be prevented by a simple vaccination. And Milton, whose owner used skills learnt on a PDSA Pet First Aid course to save his life when he started choking.
