Registered Charity Number 1122574
The END Fund is dedicated to ending the five most prevalent neglected tropical diseases (NTDs): intestinal worms, schistosomiasis, blinding trachoma, river blindness, and lymphatic filariasis. These diseases affect nearly one in five people worldwide, including more than 800 million children. These preventable, treatable diseases flourish in areas of poor water and sanitation and with limited access to healthcare. Causing blindness, disfigurement, anemia, and inability to attend or concentrate in school. They perpetuate the cycle of poverty.
The good news? These diseases can be controlled and even eliminated. Delivery of donated medicines, once or twice per year, costs about 50 cents per person per year and represents a “best buy” for health and education outcomes.

More about The End Fund
Since our founding in 2012 through 2018, with our partners, the END Fund has provided nearly 725 million treatments with a value of over $1 billion, and trained almost 1.9 million health workers in NTD control and prevention. In 2018 alone, we reached over 134 million people with 220 million treatments and trained close to 750,000 people.
A world without NTDs is one where children miss less school, are able to focus in class, and are much more likely to grow and thrive. Without the burden of NTDs, their parents are more likely to retain jobs and earn a higher income, and are less likely to be burdened by disability or blindness. Recent studies show that if global NTD targets are met, healthier citizens would generate about $52 billion in increased productivity by 2030 in Africa alone.
Your donation to the END Fund would be an investment towards a better future for the most vulnerable, lifting the burden of these diseases – for everyone, forever.
