Tommy’s believe that every family should be able to have a safe and happy pregnancy and the chance to take home a much-loved little one. But, 1 in 4 parents lose a baby during pregnancy or birth. They believe that every baby lost is one too many.
That’s why Tommy’s funds pioneering medical research to discover the causes of pregnancy complications and baby loss, and helps women at every stage of their pregnancy journeys, supporting them and their families with expert information and care.
Tommy’s believe it is unacceptable that 1 in 4 parents lose a baby during pregnancy and birth. They want to change this, by making the UK the safest place in the world to give birth and halving the number of babies lost by 2030. Tommy’s is working to make pregnancy safer for all and ensure that excellent maternity care is available for every parent, every baby, everywhere in the UK.

"We all cried when she was born, and it was like we were putting demons to rest. Edie’s arrival gave us our first real sense of joy and peace since we’d lost our son Joshua. I feel emotional just thinking about everything Tommy's did for us - their kindness and total understanding of what we’d suffered and how we felt." - Adam and Hayley Pownsey, who, after a tragic stillbirth, gave birth to a healthy baby girl under the care of the Tommy's Rainbow Clinic
