The 2.6 Challenge
The UK’s charities need your help!
The Covid-19 pandemic has hit our charities hard, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income meaning that many of our amazing charities have had to reduce or stop services at a time when they are needed most.
The London Marathon alone, which should have taken place on Sunday 26 April, is the world’s biggest one-day fundraising event, having raised over £66 million for thousands of charities in 2019!
The 2.6 Challenge has been developed to compensate as much as possible for the loss of this vital income, and to make the most of all that gruelling training runners have put in.
The 2.6 Challenge can be any activity you like – from running 2.6 kilometres to 260 jumps of a skipping rope! Whatever your age or ability, you can take part, and if you're struggling for ideas can even find a brilliant page of inspiration here!
