No - The Advent of Change (Trading) Ltd is a non-profit social enterprise limited by guarantee. This means that there are no shareholders taking money out of the company. Our ethos is to pass as much of the sale price of our products onto the designated charities.
We do have a small part-time team of people working for us who are – of course – paid for their time. However, the majority of the management team give their time and expertise pro bono.
We cover a small amount of our fundraising costs through the sale of products, however the vast majority is funded through corporate partnerships. This model enables us to give as much as possible to charity, every step of the way.
Many companies give us free or reduced fee services which keeps our operational costs to a minimum and we have also received generous donations towards our running costs. We call these companies our corporate partners, and you can find out more about them here
Yes! We do everything we can to ensure our products are eco friendly - all our fully recyclable and in addition to this we use:
- FSC assured paper
- Vegetable oil based inks
- Natural, compostable film (plastic alternative)

We use Royal Mail 1st and 2nd class postage within the UK, and first class airmail outside of the UK.
Yes, we ship all over the world, shipping costs and times vary - for some parts of the world it can take up to 14 days however we always use first class airmail.
Of course! Simply send us an email to email@example.com and send your product back to us, within 14 days and unopended (inside the compostable film) to gain a refund.
