Advent of Change was created by Kristina Salceanu in 2018 as a fundraising initiative for friends and family. 

Quickly it caught the attention of many others and in our first year £100,000 was raised for 24 charities.

No - The Advent of Change (Trading) Ltd is a non-profit social enterprise limited by guarantee. This means that there are no shareholders taking money out of the company. Our ethos is to pass as much of the sale price of our products onto the designated charities.

We do have a small part-time team of people working for us who are – of course – paid for their time. However, the majority of the management team rgive their time and expertise pro bono or for.a reduced rate.

Yes! We do everything we can to ensure our products are eco friendly.

Our Calendars are made in the UK from sustainable sources, are recyclable and wrapped in a biodegradable film. Our candle is made of 100% natural wax and crackers are plastic-free and recyclable.

We use Royal Mail as our carrier within the UK

Usually we ship all over the world, however due to the huge difficulties we've faced due to both Covid19 and Brexit, sadly we've had to postpone international shipments for the time-being. We are working hard to try and find a solution.

Yes - simply select 'add a gift message' (light grey button below 'checkout') when adding an item to your cart.

Typically Royal Mail takes 2-3 days within the UK, and we ship every morning.
