Foodcycle

Registered Charity Number 1134423
FoodCycle believes in the healing power of two things: a nourishing meal and a proper conversation. With dedicated volunteers across the county, they save surplus produce from the bin and make delicious food to support people within their local communities.
Currently running their Cook and Collect service, excess food from local retailers is turned into healthy, nutritious meals that guests collect from their local FoodCycle Project, to enjoy at home.
To help tackle social isolation, FoodCycle have also launched their Check-in and Chat service, where volunteers make weekly calls to beneficiaries to have a good natter; chatting about food, cooking and their week ahead.
Community dining is at the heart of FoodCycle and, as soon as it is safe to do so, they will return to their community meals. Since 1998, over 352,000 diners have eaten with FoodCycle and more than over 678 tonnes of surplus food has been saved.
FoodCycle wants to make sure that people have access to meals that are good for them and have someone they can talk to.
If you believe no one deserves to feel hungry or lonely, FoodCycle would love your support.
