Foodcycle

FoodCycle believes in the healing power of two things: a nourishing meal and a proper conversation. Their dedicated volunteers make nutritious meals, using surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, to support people within their local communities.

FoodCycle runs community meals providing 3-course sit down meals, open to all, to support vulnerable communities up and down the country.

Since launching in 2008, FoodCycle has served nearly 2.5 million meals.
To help tackle social isolation, initially during lockdown, FoodCycle has also launched a Check-in and Chat service, whereby volunteers make weekly calls to those feeling lonely to have a good natter; chatting about food, cooking and their week ahead.

FoodCycle wants to make sure that people have access to meals that are good for them and have someone they can talk to. If you believe no one deserves to feel hungry or lonely, FoodCycle would love your support.
